My work attempts to transform know functions of objects into extraordinary living experiences. My intent is to use aspects of the physical world and change the interaction we have with it. I am interested in creating experimental art that is interactive. I am interested in combining the way that the body functions, its form, its stamina, efficiency, and its ability to interact with the physical world.  I am interested in the reaction from the public while watching the performance of these extraordinary objects. As well as creating awareness of our normal world, and question why has been tampered with. My work is bent around science, engineering, psychology, and culture. 

 

I enjoy taking simple ready-made machines and technically resolving problems that might come by combining them. I am inspired by the happiness that comes from engaging in experiences and creating memorable events. I am interested in services, what acts of services are; as well as what services are performed by obligation, and what services are performed with a selfless intent. My work plays with social connections. It easily opens conversation based on sheer enjoyment of allowing someone to serve and receive a service. I am especially interested in the mindless pleasure that is reached when demonstrating or performing technically difficult or humorous body movements.
